How does Taste Agent work?

Taste Agent acts as a comped meal marketplace, connecting restaurants offering free meals with content creators in their area looking to grow their audience.

What does Taste Agent cost?

During our beta test phase, participation in Taste Agent is free for both operators and creators — all operators cover is the cost of comped meals, and creators contribute their time and talent.


Can I trust the content creators on Taste Agent?

Absolutely! We prioritize authenticity and vet all creators who join the Taste Agent community. You'll have access to their profiles and reviews from previous collaborations to ensure they align with your restaurant's vision and values.


Is server gratuity required for a booking?

It’s up to you! We offer 3 options. Full service: 20% Gratuity required on the food provided. Fast Casual: Gratuity is recommended but not required. Other: Customize your own gratuity requirements.


What if I need to reschedule or edit a booking?

How are bookings scheduled? I’m very busy and I want to make sure everything runs smoothly!

Bookings can only be made during dates, weekdays, and times you provide.You can block out dates for holidays, private events, etc. By default, bookings can only be made at least 4 days in advance and cannot occur within 3 days of another booking, so you’ll have plenty of time to make arrangements.


What if I’m not able to be present the day of a booking?

Can’t be there? No problem! You can add your team’s contact information so they will receive text alerts and reminders about bookings. Please note: Contacts must be able to receive SMS messages.


What happens if guests order more than what is offered or wants a menu item not included in the offering?

Creators are responsible for the cost of menu items not included in the meal offering.


What if a creator says something negative about my restaurant?

They won’t! While we admire a creator’s journalistic integrity, things happen. Our goal is to support restaurants, not critique them. Creators are instructed to share their honest experience while maintaining professionalism.
